KCR wants to upgrade Gajwel Hospital

Gajwel: Gajwel town will soon have the best healthcare facilities in government sector as Chief Minister, K Chandrashekhar Rao, instructed the officials to prepare proposals for the upgradation of 100-bed hospital, which is set for inauguration, to a 150-bed hospital by constructing a 50 bed-facility in the first floor.

During his visit to the hospital here on Wednesday, the Chief Minister also directed the officials to prepare proposals for construction of 150-bed exclusive hospital for mother and childcare in the heart of the town.

Talking to officials, Rao asked them to construct quarters for doctors and staff of the hospital on the premises of the respective hospitals. He further directed them to ensure that the hospital must have eight departments such as ENT, ophthalmology, dermatology, orthopaedics, ICU, dental, dialysis, SNCU, general surgery and diagnostic centre.

The Chief Minister also visited under-construction integrated vegetable and meat market, 1,250 double bed rooms being built at Sangapur on the outskirts of Gajwel. Asking the officials to create separate blocks for vegetable and meat markets, the CM instructed them to provide a storage facility for each and every vendor to help them store vegetables in the store room. Going through a photo exhibition put up by the district administration at Sangapur G+1 double bedroom site, the Chief Minister said that the elevation of double bedroom houses was impressive.The State government is building 1,250 2BHK houses for the poor here.

Asking them to paint the model houses in an elegant way, Rao observed that the Sangapur colony will become one of the best colonies in the State. District Collector P Venkatrami Reddy, Special Officer of GADA (Gajwel Area Development Authority), M Hanumantha Rao, explained to the Chief Minister the progress of works.
