I feel sorry for the people: Owaisi

All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen chief Asaduddin Owaisi said on Tuesday that the BJP, as a partner in the PDP-BJP coalition, was equally responsible for the present chaos in Jammu and Kashmir.

“I am of the opinion that this is a prelude to greater repression,” Mr Owaisi said. “The BJP, as a partner in the government, made no serious attempts at a dialogue either by indicating an outline of its agenda even though they had an agenda which both the parties agreed to. Not a single step was taken to fulfil what was promised.”

“I feel sorry for the people but the PDP has brought this great political disaster upon itself,” he said adding he had no sympathy for the PDP.
