Trio held for stealing bikes in Medipally PS limits

Hyderabad: Three juveniles who were involved in stealing bikes were apprehended by the Medipally police on Tuesday. Police recovered 12 two-wheelers from the trio and produced them before the Juvenile Justice Board. On Monday noon, when a team of Medipally police was checking vehicles at Boduppal, they noticed a trio of youngsters on a bike taking a U-turn to escape. A police team caught the trio and asked them to produce vehicle documents which the teenagers could not do.
They were taken to the police station and questioned, only to find that they were involved in stealing of bikes parked at various places across the city. Their most recent theft was at Medipally on April 19, where a bike parked outside a house was stolen. Medipally police said that the teenagers, all minors, confessed to have stolen seven bikes at Medipally, two at Nacharam and one each at Asifnagar and Tukaramgate and another from a place which they could not remember.
